1. What is a Lan party?
A LAN party is a gathering of
people together with their computers, which they network together
primarily for the purpose of playing multi player computer games.
2. What should I bring?

6. Power cords for equipment listed above
7. Surge protector/Outlet strip
8. Headphones (no speakers please)
9. Ethernet card
10. All of your games
11. Software including OS and drivers in case of emergency
Patch Cables will be provided. We have CAT 5 E available, however if you would like to bring CAT 6, you are more than welcome.
2. What are the most common mistakes participants make?
1. A lot of participants forget to bring their own equipment. Mouse pads, patch cables, power strips and hardware drivers are things often overlooked. Checking the above list twice is a very smart thing to do.
2. Make sure you show up on time!
3. Double check and make sure that your computer is working and your Ethernet card will connect you to a network ahead of time.
3. What if I am under the age of 18?
Participants who are under the age of 18 are required to bring the disclaimer form completely filled out by their parent/guardian. If you are under the age of 14 you will be required to have a guardian with you at all times throughout the duration of the tournament.
4. Will there be food and drink available?
Yes, Gibraltar Trade Center offers several concessions and restaurants out in the market serving food from pizza to full meals. We also have a full bar!
5. Where is the party located?
The party will be held in the Gibraltar Trade Center show area. The space is about 60,000 sq ft.

6. How much is parking?
Parking at Gibraltar Trade Center is $2.00 per day, however if you preregister at least 1 week in advance we will send you a parking pass for the weekend. Also, if you do not preregister but show up on Saturday we will certainly give you a pass for Sundays events.
